The No. 3-ranked Ole Miss Rebels have certainly earned the right to be labeled one of the nation’s best teams.

Wide receiver Laquon Treadwell is one of the deadliest offensive threats in college football, Robert Nkemdiche is turning out to be a serious concern for offensive linemen, and quarterback Chad Kelly has exceeded expectations this season.

But the Rebels will be tested today when they head into the Swamp to take on the No. 25-ranked Florida Gators. Treadwell will be matched up with cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III. Kelly will try to navigate his way through an aggressive Gators pass rush and ballhawking secondary. Frankly, only Nkemdiche is expected to have a somewhat easy time going up against a young Florida offensive line.

But the Rebels are definitely taking the game seriously despite the gap in overall rankings. They’re taking it so seriously that they decided to eat alligator meat before the game — no joke.

Do you think Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze has his guys hyped up enough?
