Pitt 'Zoo Crew' doing their best to recruit four-star corner
Pitt has already been the home of Revis Island, as NFL star cornerback, Darrelle Revis, was a Panther from 2004 to 2006, but could it be the new home of Hamlin Island?
Pitt’s “Zoo Crew” is trying its best to make that happen. At a recent basketball game, the Pitt student section, which is called the “Oakland Zoo,” broke out a “Hamlin Island” chant, which star CB recruit Damar Hamlin posted on to Twitter.

Hamlin is 6-1, 175-pound four-star cornerback from Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh and is ranked the 14th-best CB in the nation by 247Sports and the third-best prospect in the state of Pennsylvania.
According to 247Sports, Ohio State, Penn State and Pitt are in the running for Hamlin, who has also received offers from Notre Dame and Arizona State.
