Find out how to live stream this ACC Coastal game between the Pittsburgh Panthers (5-3, 2-2 ACC) and the Miami Hurricanes (4-4, 1-3).

Miami vs. Pittsburgh is not a classic rivalry by any means, but they do have a bit of a history. After all, the duo is in its second conference together. However, the dynamics of the relationship have changed since their time in the conference formerly known as the Big East.

“The U” name carried weight when they were in the Big East. The Hurricanes won nine conference titles  and two national championships while they were members of the Big East. Since joining the ACC, the Canes haven’t made a conference championship game. Their biggest impact on the national stage has come from NCAA scandal.

Pittsburgh won two Big East titles, both after Miami had jumped ship to the ACC. They are currently on a run of eight straight bowl appearances. The Hurricanes have won 17 of the last 19 games against Pittsburgh, and in ACC play the Canes won two of the first three. The Panthers snapped an eight-game losing streak to the Canes in 2014 with a 35-23 win as 10-point underdogs in Miami.

Miami certainly doesn’t scare people anymore as they have dropped four straight under first-year head coach Mark Richt. Three of the four losses were one score games. Junior quarterback Brad Kaaya has seen his draft stock take a hit and the view of the stadium from his backside pretty consistently.

Pittsburgh was riding a three-game winning streak before running into the Hokies last Thursday night. The Panthers scored with 2:31 left to make it 39-36, but failed to get a three-and-out on the ensuing Virginia Tech possession and time expired.
