Plan unfolding at QB for the Huskers?

Published Apr. 22, 2015 12:41 p.m. ET

Yesterday was a busy day for Nebraska recruiting as two signal callers got scholarship offers from the team.

In the span of a few hours, three-star quarterback Patrick O’Brien of San Juan Hills High in California and three-star quarterback Terry Wilson of Del City High in Oklahoma got offers. Could the Huskers take two quarterbacks in this class and would that be a problem for these two players?

They both had thoughts on that and had this to say via 247 Sports:

“No, it wouldn’t deter me at all,” Wilson said. “I love competition. If you’re a quarterback and you don’t love competition then something is wrong and you might need another position. I love competition. Wouldn’t bother me at all."

“I saw that offer,” O’Brien said. “I’d be OK with two quarterbacks in the same class. You’re going to get competition anywhere. I’m totally fine with it. It doesn’t bother me at all."

If there is something Nebraska fans can all get behind, it's bringing in players who are not afraid of competition.
