The most-significant sporting events often bring out the biggest names. In Monday night's National Championship between Alabama and Clemson, it will be no different.

The Crimson Tide are slated to have 12 former players on their sideline during the contest. All of them currently play in the NFL -- and are undoubtedly excited at the prospect of seeing their former school potentially win another national title.
Some of those former Alabama players expected to be in attendance include 2009 Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram, All-Pro receiver Julio Jones, Oakland Raiders receiver Amari Cooper, defensive tackle Marcell Dareus of the Buffalo Bills, San Diego offensive tackle D.J. Fluker, Baltimore Ravens linebacker C.J. Mosley, and safety Landon Collins of the New York Giants.
Based upon the aforementioned list of players mentioned above, it's no surprise head coach Nick Saban is a threat to win a national title virtually every year.
