Presbyterian beats Kennesaw State 14-6

CLINTON, S.C. (AP) Darrell Bridges ran for 134 yards and Presbyterian beat Kennesaw State 14-6 on Saturday in a season finale.

Presbyterian (2-9, 1-5) claimed its only Big South victory behind Bridges, a sophomore who went over 1,000 career yards, the first Blue Hose player to do so in the program's Division I era.

Bridges set up the first touchdown when he ran 84 yards to the Owls 8-yard-line. Ben Cheek threw 3 yards to Riley Hilton to give the Blue Hose a 7-0 lead on the second play of the second quarter.

Darryl Wilson went 7 yards on a reverse for a 14-3 lead with 13:15 left in the game. The drive's highlight was Wilson's 46-yard reception to the Owls 17.

Kennesaw State's Justin Thompson kicked field goals of 26 and 33 yards, the latter coming with 4:04 remaining. A final Owls (6-5, 2-4) drive died at the Blue Hose 37.

Trey White rushed for 155 yards for Kennesaw State.
