(STATS) - Princeton has found a spotlight game for its 2019 season - just not the one some might think.

The 99th matchup between Princeton and Dartmouth will be played at Yankee Stadium on Nov. 9, 2019, three days after the 150th anniversary of Princeton and Rutgers meeting in the first college football game.

Dartmouth will be the home team for the Ivy League game. It will be part of the celebration year of Dartmouth's 250th anniversary.

"Princeton football is known for its tradition of excellence in college football, and we are excited to partner with the New York Yankees organization, the standard of tradition and excellence in professional sports," Princeton coach Bob Surace said. "Our 28 national titles and their 27 World Series titles are both the leaders in our respective sports by a large margin, and there is no better venue to celebrate the fact that college football started with Princeton than Yankee Stadium."

Neither team has played at Yankee Stadium. They've met twice at the Polo Grounds, with Dartmouth winning 10-6 in 1908 and Princeton 6-0 in 1910. Dartmouth has a 48-44-4 series lead.
