Projected starting center Matt Cochran no long with Bears

Junior Matt Cochran, who was expected to be Cal's starting center after spring ball, is no longer a member of the Cal football team.

No reason was given for Cochran's departure; however, it was revealed that he is still enrolled at the school.

Cochran is one of six players who were with the Bears this spring but are no longer on the roster. According to a report, Sonny Dykes would have to provide details Friday at Pac-12 Media Day in Burbank.
