Putting Tennessee's fourth quarter collapses in perspective
Tennessee fans may be wondering 'why them?' after the Vols have endured two heart breakers this month. Well they aren't exactly alone in that category:

Close, but not alone, as New Mexico State blew a 13-point fourth quarter lead to UTEP Sept. 19.
Butch Jones is taking a significant amount of heat from Tennessee fans after yet another collapse in a big game, something he addressed in his Monday press conference.
"It's not about me. It's about our players and everyone in our football organization," Jones said. "I am the head football coach, and I am responsible for anything and everything. I would say put it all on my shoulders. I want it all on my shoulders.
"I want to free up our coaching staff to coach. I want to free up our players to play. That is part of the responsibility here. We have been through this, but I see our progress. I am responsible; put it all on me, so our players can go play and our coaches can coach. That's the responsibility of being the head football coach."
No matter what Jones or Tennessee may say leading up to the Arkansas game, the only thing that matters is the final score. After the season's first month, the Vols have let two huge games slip away, something that will only continue to haunt the team until they hold on and win a big game.
