Quartet of former Cardinals pose for pic at Pro Bowl
Louisville was well represented during the 2016 Pro Bowl as four former Cardinals made the NFL’s all-star game. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (Minnesota), DE/LB Elvis Dumervil (Baltimore), center Eric Wood (Buffalo) and tight end Gary Barnidge (Cleveland) each earned invites to Hawaii.
The quartet of former Cards posed for a picture, which was posted on Twitter by Louisville with a caption that read: “Great to see the Louisville team photo at the Pro Bowl; three players played for coach (Bobby) Petrino from '03-'06 #L1C4.”

Of the group, Bridgewater stole the show as he completed six of his eight pass attempts for 129 yards and two touchdowns to help lead Team Irvin to a 49-27 win over Team Rice.
Bridgewater’s best moment of the day came when he connected with Jacksonville wide receiver Allen Robinson for a 50-yard touchdown.
