Report: Former Texas A&M QB Kyle Allen eyeing four teams
While former Texas A&M freshman quarterback Kyler Murray announced his decision to transfer to Oklahoma Thursday, his old teammate and fellow former Aggie quarterback sophomore Kyle Allen has yet to determine where he will ultimately end up after transferring from A&M.
Allen does not rule out landing at a school outside of the four giving him the most attention in his recruitment, however he did tell 247Sports he plans to give them priority over any other schools at the moment.
"Colorado State, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Houston are the four I talk to the most," Allen said. "I don't want to call them my top four, but I'm going to look harder at the schools talking to me the most."
"I'm trying to talk to players and coaches as much as possible to get to know those schools. That's the best I can do and it's fine. I'm really just looking to see which team has the best situation for me and will help me with the best chance of winning. That's what is important to me."
The sophomore quarterback has yet to redshirt and can serve as a redshirt season as he sits out the 2016 season due to current NCAA transfer rules. Allen claims to be nowhere close to making a decision on his next destination, however expects the next three weeks to be crucial in his decision making.
