Report: Georgia landing Ohio State signee not academically cleared by Buckeyes
Mirko Jurkovic Jr. has had an interesting start to his college career to say the least. The Notre Dame legacy prospect, his father played on the Irish's last national championship team, received scholarship offers from nearly every elite team in the country before signing with Ohio State on National Signing Day.
However, Jurkovic failed to qualify in Columbus and began to look at Notre Dame. In order to qualify for the Irish, Jurkovic would first have to enroll at Holy Cross for a semester. Just before enrolling, it appears the Bulldogs have entered into the picture for Jurkovic's services.
While Jurkovic was only rated as a three-star prospect by 247 Sports, the fact Ohio State, Notre Dame and Georgia are interested in his talent shows the type of potential the big lineman may have down the line.
A potential future starter on the offensive line may have just fallen into Georgia's lap this summer.
