Report: Michigan State defensive back recruit yet to enroll

Not every member of Michigan State's 2015 recruiting class has made it to East Lansing yet.

MLive.com reported Sunday night Kaleel Gaines, a three-star safety from Frostproof, Fla., still has to finish some academic work before he can officially become a Spartan.

"I started the (online biology) class on Saturday, and I'm planning to be finished in a week-and-a-half,'' Gaines told the site. "I'm planning to be up there on the 20th. I will get this done.''

Scout.com rated Gaines the No. 89 safety in the nation last year.
