Report: UCLA blocked TE Chris Clark from transferring to Michigan, OSU
Tight end Chris Clark was enrolled at UCLA, but left the program Sept. 14. While he had originally looked at Michigan during recruitment, that's reportedly no longer an option.
Clark, who was the top-rated tight end recruit in the nation this year, told MLive.com that he was blocked by UCLA from transferring to Michigan. The report also explains that Clark was also barred from playing for Ohio State and Michigan State, as well.
Clark was committed to Michigan, but de-committed after former Wolverines' head coach Brady Hoke was fired. Rivals.com said Clark will look at Virginia, Pittsburgh and North Carolina State.
While Steve Lorenz reports that Michigan has no interest in recruiting Clark, Nick Baumgardner explains that Clark and his family plan to appeal. Baumfardner adds that UCLA did not provide a reason why those schools were blocked.
None of these schools are on UCLA’s schedule until 2022 but ok then. https://t.co/jD1zn47sHn
