Rich Rodriguez continues hot pursuit on recruiting trail

Published Apr. 30, 2015 2:42 p.m. ET

It may be the offseason, but there's hardly any down time for Arizona's Rich Rodriguez.

The Wildcats head coach continues to build his 2016 class, and just recently beefed up the defensive side by making two offers, according to the Arizona Desert Swarm.

The Wildcats sent offers to two three-star recruits in Lamar Jackson and Korey Banks. Arizona is pretty thin on the defensive side as of now, which explains Rodriguez's recent moves.

"As of now, Arizona only has one commit for 2016 on the defensive side of the ball, which is an issue that Rich Rodriguez is currently working on," writes Gabe Encinas.

Arizona wants Jackson as a safety and Banks as a cornerback, according to Encinas. Head over to Arizona Desert Swarm to check out some highlight videos.
