It's always a special thing to see bitter rivals of neighboring schools come together united for a common cause.

An annual occurrence, the latest installment of the "Unified Egg Bowl" took place Monday night on the Ole Miss intramural field. Students from both Ole Miss and Mississippi State play each other in a flag football game. Adding to the unique nature surrounding the event, Special Olympic athletes play in the contest for both teams.
The Unified Rebels narrowly defeated the Unified Bulldogs by a score of 25-24. Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze, offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil, and tight end Evan Engram were in attendance. Engram played the role of a coach, and offered some perspective on the special night.

"It's a very, very humbling experience. It's a blessing," said Engram. "It's a great privilege to hang out with these kids and to share the sport of football with them."
