Robert Morris beats Bryant 21-20 after PAT kick goes wide

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) Dalton Easton passed for two fourth-quarter touchdowns but a missed PAT kick was the difference as Robert Morris held on to defeat Bryant 21-20 on Saturday.

The Colonials (4-7, 2-4 Northeast Conference) had scored three straight rushing TDs to grab a 21-7 lead against preseason conference favorite Bryant (5-6, 3-3) only to have Easton bring the Bulldogs roaring back.

The junior quarterback fired a scoring pass to Jose Depadua after Robert Morris failed to convert a fake punt at its 30-yard line. Three minutes later, he did it again, sailing an 18-yarder to John Lavin for the TD to cap a two-play drive.

But Ricky Perez's PAT kick sailed wide left - only his sixth miss this season.
