Rutgers could be without No. 1 WR against Ohio State

Rutgers football coach Kyle Flood told reporters on the Big Ten coaches teleconference Tuesday he was uncertain of the availability of star receiver Leonte Carroo.

A 6-foot-1, 215-pound senior, Carroo has 21 catches for 472 yards despite playing only four games this season.

He sprained an ankle in the Scarlet Knights' wild win over Indiana last week but told reporters after the game he intended to play against the Buckeyes.

Flood said Carroo missed practice Tuesday and his status would be updated later in the week.

Carroo was listed as "questionable" on the injury report the school released Monday.

Another receiver, Janarion Grant, is also listed as questionable with a lower body injury.
