Saint Francis to face fellow NEC powers at home

(STATS) - Saint Francis will seek to bounce back in its 11-game 2018 schedule, which was announced Tuesday.

The Red Flash dropped to 5-6 overall and 3-3 in the Northeast Conference one year after winning a share of the title and playing in the FCS playoffs for the first time.

Coach Chris Villarrial's ninth season will kick off on Sept. 1 at two-time defending Patriot League champion Lehigh, and Saint Francis will host five opponents at DeGol Field: Delaware State (Sept. 8) and West Virginia Wesleyan (Sept. 29) out of conference and the three NEC members that finished above them in the standings Duquesne (Oct. 20), Bryant (Nov. 3) and champion Central Connecticut State (Nov. 10).
