Samford defensive lineman Michael Pierce is one strong dude. Just how strong you ask? Well he recently put up an incredible school-record squat of 725-pounds. To quote Lloyd Christmas, "He must workout."

Pierce can also been seen here power cleaning 405-pounds:

The 2015 Southern Conference preseason Defensive Player of the Year will get his chance to show he isn't just a workout warrior who can squat an insane amount of weight. He'll show his skills against top NCAA-level competition this season when Samford plays at Louisville Sept. 26.

If Samford pulls the upset, these videos could be seen as the spark that fueled the Bulldogs to the improbable victory. If not, at least Pierce appears to have a successful career as a trainer lined up following his playing days.
