(STATS) - North Dakota State winning by 26 points wasn't the only big number coming out of its quarterfinal-round victory over South Dakota State in the FCS playoffs Saturday.

The game, which the Bison won 36-10, drew over 1.98 million viewers to the ESPN broadcast - an FCS record for television viewership - according to SportsTVRating.com. It surpassed the 1.87 million for Montana's semifinal-round win over Appalachian State in 2009.

With the win, North Dakota State (12-1) avenged its only loss of the season. The Bison are seeking their sixth straight FCS national title.
