SEC Football: LSU Offensive Lineman Takes Cheap Shot

Wisconsin defeated LSU in Lambeau Field today, but what happened at the end is what most people are talking about.

LSU quarterback Brandon Harris ended today’s game in a familiar fashion for LSU fans, with an interception. What happened after the play is what had most fans hoping the SEC football office would punish the Tigers.

LSU offensive lineman Josh Boutte took out his frustration at the end of the game on Wisconsin cornerback D’Cota DIxon.

LSU coach Les Miles has already put out a statement on the matter, claiming he would “review the late hit.” Miles also went on to say he thought Boutte thought the play was not over.

I wonder if Miles will put the decision up to a team vote again?

Boutte should easily be suspended for a few games after this late hit, a hit that could’ve killed Dixon.

LSU would lose to the Badgers 16-14 after a long fought game. LSU running back Leonard Fournette left the game late with an injury.

The Badgers exposed the Tigers, who have yet to find a quarterback to lead a very talented team. If LSU could get some kind of play out of Harris, the team could be deadly.

With the Tigers loss, they move to the bottom of the SEC West standings, where they are joined by Mississippi State and Auburn.
