Skyler Howard trails only Rich-Rod legend in rushing yards

Skyler Howard has tallied up quite a few starts as West Virginia's quarterback, and as a result, he's accumulated some pretty impressive numbers. Of all kinds.

Pat White was one of the most dynamic rushing threats from the quarterback spot in recent college football history, and Howard trails only White in rushing yards from the QB spot.

“The game is really slowing down,” Howard said. “I’m seeing things before they happen, getting the ball to those playmakers and seeing holes open. Physically, I feel like I’m a better runner than I was last year.”

White rushed for 974 yards in 2008, and Howard's 492 yards this season are second to White's mark.
