St. Francis blanks Robert Morris 21-0, still in NEC hunt

LORETTO, Pa. (AP) Zach Drayer passed for two touchdowns and ran for another as St. Francis (Pa.) shut out Robert Morris 21-0 on Saturday to stay in the cluster at the top of the Northeast Conference.

The Red Flash (7-3, 4-1) struck early when Dreyer completed a TD pass from the 6 to Terell Smith at 10:49 of the first quarter. Drayer capped a six-play, 72-yard drive with a keeper from the 2 yard line, and later hit Matt Valenzuela with another touchdown pass from the 6 - the only pass thrown to him in the game.

Drayer completed 15 of 22 passes for 116 yards and threw two interceptions.

Khairi Dickinson and Marcus Bagley were workhorses, Dickinson gaining 177 yards on the ground, Bagley 113.

The Colonials (3-7, 1-4) rushed for 175 yards but the quarterback tandem of Matthew Barr and Luke Brumbaugh combined for three completions in 18 attempts for 46 yards and two interceptions.
