Starting TE Traylor out 4-8 weeks with arm injury

Published Oct. 8, 2015 3:33 p.m. ET

The injury bug continues to spread throughout college football and has hit the Wisconsin Badgers.

The team is already without Corey Clement, a slew of offensive lineman, and could be without number one wide receiver Alex Erickson. Now they got word that starting tight end Austin Traylor is out 4-8 weeks with an arm injury.

The injury occurred in the second half of Wisconsin's loss to Iowa last Saturday. There is a chance that he could return for the game against Maryland but that is being optimistic. This is a tough blow for the Badgers as Traylor was playing well, having scored in three games this season.
