Surprise! Clemson players show up at 6-year old fan's birthday party

Mac Wilkinson will have a lot of birthday parties in the future, but not many will be able to top the one he had this year.

The six-year old Clemson fan got a surprise visit from six Tigers players on Saturday as J.D. Davis, Judah Davis, Tre Lamar, Shaq Smith, Christian Wilkins and Garrett Williams dropped by to say hi.

The Wilkson family was touched by the gesture.

Naturally, it didn’t take long before a football game broke out.

This year was one of the finest in the history of Clemson football as the ACC champion Tigers made it to the national title game for the first time since 1981 and finished the year ranked second in the final AP Top 25 Poll with a 14-1 record.
