Suspended MSU running back not enrolled in classes

Published Jun. 15, 2015 11:55 a.m. ET

First came the news that suspended Michigan State running back Delton Williams will not be reinstated solely at the whim of coach Mark Dantonio.

Now MLive.com has reported Williams is not enrolled in class at MSU.

A university spokesperson confirmed that to the site, which also notes Williams violated not only criminal law by showing a gun during what has been termed a road rage incident. He also broke a school rule regarding firearms, so his academic status could be a result of university judicial process that is barred by federal law from being publicized.

That is all despite the gun charge possibly being dismissed as part of a plea bargain made in district court in April.
