SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) Syracuse defensive backs Antwan Cordy and Jordan Martin will miss the rest of the season due to injuries, Orange coach Dino Babers said Monday.

Cordy, a redshirt junior free safety who missed 10 games last season with a forearm injury, suffered a lower-leg injury against Central Connecticut State in the season opener and hasn't played since. He received a medical redshirt last year.

Martin, a graduate transfer from Toledo who replaced Cordy in the lineup, recently underwent surgery for an injured wrist. He was hurt during the first half of Syracuse's 27-24 victory against then-No. 2 Clemson on Oct. 13, returned in the second half but saw limited action the following week at Miami.

Martin concludes his college career with 99 tackles, including 25 in eight games for the Orange. He also recorded three pass breakups and one forced fumble in 2017.
