Syracuse vs Boston College Live Stream: Watch Orange vs Eagles Online
Check out how to live stream the ACC Atlantic matchup of the Syracuse Orange (3-4, 1-2 ACC) and the Boston College Eagles (3-3, 0-3).
Boston College’s futility has become the saddest story in the ACC. The Eagles went through all of the last basketball and football seasons without a win in conference, 0-26. BC has not won a conference football game since November 29, 2014 — at home, against Syracuse. And so, the stage is set for Boston College to snap their depressing losing streak with the Orange coming to Chestnut Hill this weekend.
Depending on what kind of pop psychology you want to use, Syracuse is either entering the game on a heater and confident or primed for a letdown. The Orange played their best game of the season in upsetting then No. 17 Virginia Tech 31-17 in the Carrier Dome last week. Quarterback Eric Dungey racked up 417 of the Syracuse offense’s 561 yards, and the Orange scored the game’s final 14 points to take the Hokies out of the ACC Coastal driver’s seat. Boston College is a bye week removed from a 56-10 drubbing by Clemson.
The game’s most compelling matchup will be the Syracuse passing attack against the Boston College defense. The Orange have the ninth-ranked passing game in the country averaging 346.1 yards per game. The Eagles only give up 149.7 yards through the air, fifth in FBS. BC’s total defense is fourth with only 253 yards of total offense allowed per game.
The oddsmakers seem to think BC will finally get the ACC win they are searching for as they opened the game with the Eagles as 6-point favorites. This is the first time Boston College is favored in a conference game this season and the first time since they were 3-point favorites on the road at Syracuse to end last season. The Orange pulled off the upset 20-17 with a game-winning 33-yard field goal as time expired.
