Tar Heels QB Williams breaks school's total TD record (video)

You can’t ask for a better start to a game than the one North Carolina quarterback Marquise Williams had versus archrival Duke.

First, Williams threw an 89-yard touchdown pass on a flea-flicker to Ryan Switzer on the Tar Heels first offensive possession of the game. Then, Williams scrambled for a four-yard touchdown run to take a 14-3 lead over the Blue Devils in their ACC Coastal Division showdown.

The touchdown run was the 80th of Williams’ career and broke UNC’s record for total touchdowns.

Williams would finish the game throwing for 494 yards as the Heels downed the Devils, 66-31.
