TCU ranked No. 3 to start season

Because of  Trevone Boykin and nine other starters back on offense, the TCU Horned Frogs are the No. 3-ranked team in the country, according to Sports Illustrated.

Ohio State comes in at No. 1, Auburn is No. 2. Baylor at No. 4 and Oklahoma at No. 21 are the only other Big 12 schools ranked. You can check out the entire top 25 here.

SI points to receiver Josh Doctson (1,018 yards on 65 catches) and running back Aaron Green (7.1 yards per carry) as players to watch on offense.

TCU opens the season with a road game at Minnesota, but won't face another pre-season ranked team until Nov. 21 when the Frogs play at Oklahoma.
