STILLWATER, Okla. -- TCU's Josh Doctson, the nation's leader in receiving yards, left Saturday's game against Oklahoma State with a left wrist injury in the second quarter and did not return.

Doctson caught a 12-yard pass from Trevone Boykin before Oklahoma State's Jordan Burton landed on the wrist with just under two minutes remaining in the first half.

"You go in with a game plan, and the game plan is to throw to number nine, and then number nine's not there anymore," coach Gary Patterson said. "Your whole set of rules change for this offense, because they set plays up for people."

Doctson entered the game with 1,250 yards and 14 touchdowns. He had six catches for 64 yards before leaving the game.
