TCU star receiver Doctson will miss rest of regular season

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) TCU star receiver Josh Doctson will miss the last two regular-season games for the No. 11 Horned Frogs because of his injured left wrist.

Doctson got hurt Nov. 7 when an Oklahoma State defender fell on his left arm after Doctson planted his hand on the turf after making a catch. Doctson tried to play Saturday, but had only one catch for 12 yards against Kansas.

Coach Gary Patterson said after practice Wednesday that Doctson ''just can't play with it.'' The senior receiver saw another specialist this week.

Doctson set TCU's single-season records this season with 79 catches, a national-leading 1,337 yards and 14 touchdowns.
