TCU's Gray still recovering

Published Aug. 11, 2015 4:16 p.m. ET

TCU has a high-powered offense with quarterback Trevone Boykin and receivers Josh Doctson as well as Kolby Listenbee.

But the Frogs may be without Deante' Gray for the season opener at Minnesota.

The slot receiver sat out practice over the weekend as he recovers from knee surgery and may not be back in time for the first game, according to frogsowar.com.

Gray played in 11 games last season and made 36 catches for 582 yards. He was second on the team with eight receiving touchdowns.
