Texas nets another former Baylor recruit

Just a couple of days after Baylor released five Class of 2016 signees, one of those prospects, offensive lineman JP Urquidez announced Saturday that he's going to play for Texas.

The 6-5, 300-pound Urquidez follows Devin Duvernay, Baylor's top-ranked recruit, who earlier this week signed with UT.

The Bears program is reeling in the wake of the sexual assault scandal that cost former Baylor head coach Art Briles, AD Ian McCaw and school president Ken Starr their jobs. Jim Grobe has been hired as Baylor’s acting head coach for the 2016 season.
