Texas RB commits to Iowa State

Iowa State already has a really good tailback in Mike Warren, but you can never have too many ball-carriers. Matt Campbell recently picked up a running back commit out of the state of Texas.

Kene Nwangwu is a three-star prospect who was considering joining the Cyclones when Paul Rhoads was in charge. When Rhoads left, Nwangwu was left in limbo. But as it turns out, he liked what Campbell was selling in Ames, and he'll be enrolling at Iowa State.

"Coach Campbell told me that Coach Lou showed the new staff my film and they really wanted to get me," Nwangwu said. "It was next night I believe when Coach Campbell called me."
