Texas Tech quarterback to follow Mike Jinks to Bowling Green

Patrick Mahomes beat out Davis Webb for the Texas Tech starting quarterback role in 2015, and he was outstanding all season long. That left Webb, a talented QB, stuck on the bench.
When associate head coach Mike Jinks took the Bowling Green head coaching job, it opened up an opportunity for Webb. It was announced that Webb would transfer to Bowling Green to follow Jinks, as he looks for a an opportunity to be a program's starting quarterback.
Bowl. Webb completed 226-of-361 pass attempts in 10 games in 2013, throwing for 2,718 yards and 20 touchdowns with nine interceptions.
