The case for Texas Tech football not having a true rival

Texas has Oklahoma, while TCU has Baylor. Texas Tech has.... all of them?

 

It would be accurate to say that the Red Raiders don't have one true hated rival like all of the teams above do. In a sense, Texas Tech has beef with most schools that play their games in the state of Texas.

Is this a positive or a negative? Rivalries certainly draw more interest, but sometimes, they reach the point of no return.
