Walton High School may not be the best prep team in Georgia, but they might be the smartest.

Walton, which advanced to the second round of the playoffs and finished the season with a 9-3 record, feature four teammates who will each go on to play football for Ivy League schools.

Seniors Karekin Brooks (Penn), Joey Goodman (Harvard), Ryan Roegge (Dartmouth) and Christian Sullivan (Princeton) have each committed to an Ivy League school.

Brooks, a running back, rushed for 1,220 yards and 22 TDs this season. Goodman, a linebacker, tallied 58 tackles and 5.5 sacks. Roegge will play safety for Dartmouth and Sullivan is expected to play defensive back when he arrives at Princeton.

Raiders 29-year head coach Maurice “Mo” Dixon said he has never fielded a team like this before.

Per the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

"I’ve had some guys go Ivy League,” Dixon said. “But no, I’ve never (seen this). ...To me, the grades is what opened the door to everything. These kids are going to go to college, but football opened the door for them to get to the best colleges."
