The team with the best odds to win the SEC may surprise you: LSU's odds will shock you

Heading into the last month of the regular season, conference races around the country have been narrowed to a select few and the Southeastern Conference is no different. Before LSU and Alabama meet on the field this weekend, four teams have the edge on winning the league.

So who is the current favorite to win the SEC?

That honor belongs to the Crimson Tide, with current odds at 5:4, according to Sportsbook.ag. Despite being the clear favorite, Alabama does not even control its destiny in the SEC West after losing to Ole Miss.

All the Rebels have to do is win out and the SEC West title is theirs. Ole Miss has the fourth best odds to win the SEC at 17:4.

Florida, having all but secured the East by beating Georgia Saturday, has the second best odds at 13:10. The SEC's only undefeated team, LSU has the third best odds at 3:1.

Not much love for a Tiger team that has already beaten Florida and will likely advance to the College Football Playoff if they can win this weekend in Tuscaloosa.
