Three Spartans among top 50 draft prospects

After getting one first-round pick in last month's NFL draft (Trae Waynes), could Michigan State have more than that next spring?

Scout.com rates two Spartans in the top 32 draft-eligible players for 2016 with another on the cusp as focus starts to turn toward the next crop of prospects.

Leading the way is Connor Cook, Scout's No. 11 prospect and the No. 1 quarterback on the board. Next comes Shilique Calhoun, the No. 19 overall prospect and No. 4 defensive end.

Perhaps able to play his way into first-round consideration? Jack Allen checks in at No. 37 and is rated sixth among offensive tackles.
