Top 2016 DL primed to be an impact player as a freshman
Derrick Brown is not your average high school football player.
At 6'4", 320 pounds, the 2016 defensive lineman is an absolute load. Possessing tremendous natural strength, Brown's able to bowl over helpless offensive linemen.
Not only that, but surprising quickness enables the Georgia native to get into the backfield with virtual regularity on the high school level.
These traits have made him one of the most highly-pursued defensive line prospects in the country. Brown has ultimately narrowed his final list down to Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Mississippi State, and Tennessee.

Official visits to Starkville and Tuscaloosa have already taken place. The next three weekends will include trips to Auburn, Georgia, and Tennessee, respectively.
Brown truly does possess rare characteristics for the position. He's already big enough to contribute right away for whichever school he signs with. Couple his massive frame with his combination of agility and power, and Brown has the ability to one day be an all-conference type of player.
