Quinn Nordin, the No. 1 kicker in the 2016 class, has de-committed from Penn State.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound prospect out of Rockford, Mich., had been committed to the Nittany Lions since July.

He announced his commitment on Twitter.

Nordin, along with USC, is heavily considering Michigan. Alabama and Baylor could also be in contention. He was the famously first recruit to have a sleepover with Jim Harbaugh.

He will be announcing his commitment on National Signing Day.
