'Trump is disgusting' written in sky above Rose Bowl Parade

The Rose Bowl wasn't the most competitive game of the postseason, but considering the Stanford band's "offensive" performance, the Twitter firestorm caused by presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, and the political statement that was made at the parade about another GOP hopeful, that bowl is still carrying the headlines.

Ahead of the contest, at the 127th Rose Bowl Parade, a political activist who clearly is not fond of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump took to the sky. "America is great! Trump is disgusting" was written out in skywriting for onlookers. Later on, "Anybody but Trump" was added.

According to CBS News, the skywriting was commissioned by a millionaire real estate developer named Stan Pate. He is a donor to the campaign of another GOP presidential candidate: Marco Rubio.

Unclear who'll win the Republican primary, but Stanford emerged victorious over Iowa in the Rose Bowl on Friday, by a score of 45-16.
