UCF's Todd Stansbury to be named AD at Oregon State
It looks as though a new era at Oregon State is officially underway. According to The Oregonian, Oregon State has hired University of Central Florida athletic director Todd Stansbury for the same position.
Stansbury, 54, was the Beavers' executive associate athletic director for nine years before taking the over at UCF in March of 2012.
In a statement, Stansbury had this to say:
"This decision was difficult because I love UCF, what our teams have accomplished and the excitement still ahead," Stansbury said. "Karen and I have spent a large part of our lives at Oregon State and we look forward to returning to Corvallis. Without a doubt, we will be Knights fans from the West Coast."
Stansbury will take over for his former boss, outgoing OSU AD Bob De Carolis, on August 1.
