UCLA Football: A Quick Look at the Remaining Schedule
The UCLA Football team is 2-2. With such early loses, how will the Bruins and the season? We look at a few different possible outcomes.
Eight games remain in the regular season for the UCLA Football team. All of them are PAC-12 Conference match ups. How will the Bruins end the season?
Let us take a quick look at what teams remain on the schedule:
Vs. Arizona (10/1), vs. Arizona State (10/8), at Washington State (10/15), vs Utah (10/22), at Colorado (11/3, Thurs.), vs. Oregon State (11/12), vs. USC (11/19), and California (11/26).

I had a certain opinion about the schedule until I saw a post on Twitter that stated that none of these teams are as good as Texas A&M or Stanford. With UCLA nearly beating both teams (which are both in the Top 10), they could potentially run the table. If that occurs, UCLA would finish 10-2.
They would likely win the South Division and lock up a trip to the PAC-12 Championship Game. BOOM!
Buuuuuuuuuut…
They could also run into some trouble. Though I am optimistic, I am also realistic.
UCLA has been known to lose games they should win. If this trend continues this season, mixed with the rise of a few PAC-12 teams and heck, let’s throw in potential injuries, then the Bruins could lose up to four games.
Beyond ASU, Wazzu, Utah and Colorado, I can’t see UCLA losing to any other teams (but stranger things have happened). The interesting thing about these four teams is that the Bruins play all of them in consecutive weeks.
So if the Bruins lose 4 more games, that would put them at 6-6, barely bowl eligible. That would be grounds for relegation to the Las Vegas Bowl or Cactus Bowl.

But if I had to guess, with all my powers of positivity, I would predict that UCLA loses one more game. At Colorado. That Thursday night affair is looking very advantageous to an up-and-coming Buffaloes team that just beat Oregon. That would give UCLA a 9-3 record and a ticket to the Pac-12 Championship Game. I would be fine with that.
