UCLA Football vs. Utah Utes: The Injuries Are A Bit Ridiculous
The UCLA Football team is going into battle with a wounded Utah Utes team, but the Bruins have a few key injuries themselves.
There are a lot of players that are going to miss Saturday’s game between the UCLA Football and the Utah Utes. Let us start with the Bruins’ woes.
The biggest one is QB Josh Rosen. He was injured two weeks ago against Arizona State and because of that missed last week’s affair with Washington State. We probably will not know if Rosen can go until kickoff.
RT Kolton Miller is still out with an ankle injury. Head Coach Jim Mora has said he expects Miller back later this season, but he will not play against Utah.
CB Nate Meadors is currently nursing a groin injury. It is unknown if he will play.

Now for the list that Utah fans fear. Let us start with the running back position as the Utes are down to their sixth-string running back.
RB Armand Shyne, the team’s leading rusher tore his ACL and is out for the season. As thin as they are at this position, Head Coach Kyle Whittingham might look to other players to help out in the back field.
They are also down to their fourth string center, Nick Nowakowski. This is going to be interesting as the Utes have heavily relied on the run game and have struggled to pass the ball. They are currently 9th in the Pac-12 in passing offense.
TE Siale Fakailoatonga is out for the season with a knee injury.
On defense, former Bruin DE Kylie Fitts injured his foot a few weeks ago and is out for the season.
LB Marcus Sanders-Williams is also out for the season. Utah has another LB out as Sunia Tauteoli has an undisclosed injury and could miss Saturday’s game. DB Marcus Williams also has an undisclosed injury and might not play on Saturday.
As much as these two teams will try to battle it out, injuries could determine the direction of the game. If Utah loses any more, that could be devastating. In all honesty, UCLA cannot afford to lose any more of their own.
