UCLA is No. 14 in coaches' preseason top 25 poll

By some accounts, UCLA was considered a top-10 program heading into the 2015 season. Other pegged the Bruins as a top-20 team.

On Thursday, the USA TODAY Sports released the Amway Preseason Coaches Top 25 Poll, and UCLA opens at No. 14.

Here's what USA TODAY Sports had to say about the Bruins.

"Standout LB Myles Jack and TB Paul Perkins are among 18 starters back for the Bruins, but QB Brett Hundley is not."

Clearly the uncertainty at quarterback hinged on the Bruins' chances of debuting as a higher ranked team. But if Jerry Neuheisel or Josh Rosen can cement themselves early on in fall camp, UCLA certainly has a chance to move up the rankings with stellar play to start the season.
