UCLA junior OL Alex Redmond has left the team, says Jim Mora

UCLA junior offensive lineman Alex Redmond has left the program and has already signed with an agent, according to head coach Jim Mora.

Redmond's departure leaves UCLA in a tough position as it prepares for its bowl game versus Nebraska on Dec. 26. The Bruins do not have much depth at left guard, especially since Kenny Lacy still limited with an ankle injury. Poasi Moala could be the Bruins' best option.

Redmond was a honorable mention all-conference selection by Pac-12 coaches in 2014 and was named first-team Freshman All-America by Sporting News, Athlon Sports and Football Writers Association (FWAA) in 2013.
