UCLA ranks third in most 2016 NFL Draft combine invitees
2016 could be a banner year for the UCLA football program.
Combine invites were announced on Thursday for the 2016 NFL Draft. Nine members of Jim Mora's team from a season ago will test their luck in Indianapolis in what could be the most comprehensive and pressure-packed job interview anywhere in the country.

1. Ohio State - 14
2. Notre Dame - 10
3. Alabama - 9
4. UCLA - 9
The sheer number of Bruins at the event is quite striking -- considering the other programs UCLA ranks above in terms of total attendees. Only Ohio State (14) and Notre Dame (10) have more players at the combine. The Bruins are tied for having the third-most with National Champion Alabama.
Assuming he can demonstrate a clean bill of health, Myles Jack may end up a top-10 pick. Similarly, defensive tackle Kenny Clark may find himself in first-round contention with a strong combine performance.
The heavy presence of UCLA players at the combine will surely work as a very nice recruiting tool for Mora and his staff.
